What to Expect During a 60-Minute Massage

A 60 minute massage is the most popular length for a first visit. If you have not had one before, this guide explains what to expect, from booking to the moment you leave our spa in JLT, Dubai.
Before your massage
- Book ahead: advance booking is recommended. Message us on WhatsApp with the treatment and the time you would like.
- Choose your treatment: see how to choose the right massage in JLT if you are not sure.
- Tell your therapist: before the treatment starts, mention any injuries, allergies or health conditions, and the pressure you prefer.
During your massage
Your treatment takes place in a private room, and we provide towels and robes. The therapist works on your body for the length of the treatment. The pressure depends on the treatment you chose, from gentle in a relaxation treatment to firmer in a deep tissue treatment. If anything feels too light or too strong, say so. Your therapist can adjust.
After your massage
Take a moment before you leave. Many people like to drink some water and avoid rushing straight into a busy schedule. If you enjoyed the treatment, you can add a sauna or jacuzzi next time, or choose a longer session.
Which of our treatments come in 60 minutes?
- Relaxation Treatment: a gentle, calming treatment. Available at our daytime happy hour rate.
- Deep Tissue Treatment: firmer pressure for tight shoulders, back and legs. Available at our daytime happy hour rate.
- Signature Warm Oil Treatment: flowing strokes with warm oil.
- Therapeutic Body Treatment: focused work on areas of tension.
- Four Hands Body Treatment: two therapists working together.
